About Andrea Van Soest

Andrea co-owns Storology Storage with her husband Doug. She holds a Master's degree in Real Estate Development from Boston Architectural College and a BA in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Point Loma Nazarene University. That's the background she brings to every acquisition and facility decision the company makes.

Andrea has been investing in real estate alongside Doug since 2007, across residential and commercial property across Southern California, Texas, and New Mexico. Where Doug focuses on operations and tenant relationships on the ground, Andrea brings the real estate development perspective of how the asset is structured, how the market position holds up, and where the business goes next.

She co-owns Storology alongside Doug, and the company currently operates five facilities: three in Tyler, TX and two in Roswell, NM.

Andrea's Role at Storology Storage

Andrea believes that sound real estate ownership starts with the right research, the right structure, and a long-term view. At Storology, this means:

  • Rigorous market analysis before every acquisition
  • Real estate development expertise applied to site selection and facility planning
  • Ownership structures that protect the business and support long-term growth
  • Investment discipline across every market Storology enters
  • A commitment to running facilities that tenants trust and return to

Co-Owner, Storology Storage

Experience and Background

Before co-owning Storology Storage, Andrea spent nearly two decades as a real estate investor and operator alongside Doug at SoCal Home Buyers, where she was involved in more than 400 property transactions across five Southern California counties. She directed the design and rehabilitation side of every flip, managed resale strategy, and helped build the operational systems the company still runs on today.

Andrea recently completed a Master's degree in Real Estate Development from Boston Architectural College, deepening the formal foundation she brings to Storology's acquisition and development decisions. She understands what it takes to evaluate a market, structure an asset, and build a property business that holds up over time.

Commitment to Community

Andrea is committed to making Storology a dependable resource in every community it serves. She believes storage should be straightforward and easy to access, fairly priced, and managed by people who actually care about the experience.

Storology Storage reflects this commitment by maintaining clean, well-lit facilities with flexible access hours and responsive local management at every location.
