Choosing and renting a unit

What size storage unit do I need?

The right size depends on what you are storing. Our storage size guide shows what commonly fits in each unit size.

Available sizes vary by location. Choose a facility to see its current units and prices. If you are between two sizes, call the number on that facility’s page and we can help you compare them.

Can I rent a storage unit online?

Yes. Start on our locations page, choose a facility and view its available units and prices. You can complete the rental online or call the facility for help.

Storology can handle rentals in English or Spanish, and you do not need to visit an office to rent.

Are Storology rentals month to month?

Yes. Storology rentals are month to month, and monthly billing is set for the first day of the month.

What is due when I move in?

Your online checkout shows the exact amount due. Rent is prorated from your move-in date through the end of that month.

  • If you move in on or before the 20th: You are charged prorated rent for the remainder of the current month.
  • If you move in after the 20th: You are charged the prorated remainder of the current month plus the following month’s full rent. Because that following month is paid in advance, your next monthly rent payment is due on the first day of the month after that.

Your move-in total also includes a $25 administration fee and prorated charges for selected products or services, such as tenant insurance, 24-hour access or a lock.

Do I need insurance for my stored belongings?

Yes. Tenants must maintain coverage for their stored property. You may satisfy this requirement in either of these ways:

  • Submit proof that your homeowners or renters policy covers belongings in a storage unit.
  • Select one of Storology’s tenant-insurance options.

Review the applicable policy or plan documents for coverage amounts, limits and exclusions.

How do discounts and promotions work?

Discounts and promotions vary by unit and facility. If your rental includes a limited promotion, the terms will appear on your invoice.

When the promotional period ends, the rent returns to the standard struck-through rate advertised when you rented the unit.

Access and facility features

What are the access hours?

Regular gate-access hours depend on the location:

  • Texas facilities: 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
  • Roswell facilities: 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
  • 24-hour access: Available at all Texas facilities as a $10-per-month upgrade.

Gate-access hours are different from office or call-center hours. Check the individual facility page for current hours and availability.

Do all Storology locations offer the same storage options?

No. Unit sizes, climate control, drive-up access and vehicle-parking options vary by facility. Our locations page compares all seven facilities and links to current availability at each one.

Which locations have climate-controlled storage?

Climate-controlled units are available at our Grande Boulevard and Highway 110 facilities in Tyler. The other Storology locations currently offer outdoor drive-up storage rather than climate-controlled units.

Do you offer RV, boat or vehicle storage?

Yes, at selected locations.

Check the location page for current sizes and availability.

What security features do the facilities have?

Security features vary by location. Facility pages identify available features such as:

  • Coded gate entry
  • Perimeter fencing
  • Lighting
  • Security cameras

Review the specific facility page before renting, especially when comparing outdoor parking or a unit outside a property’s main gate. Storage security reduces risk but does not guarantee against loss or damage.

Can I move to a different unit size later?

Yes, if another unit is available. Contact Storology at the phone number listed on your facility page, and we can help you compare the available options.

Storage rules and moving out

What items are prohibited from storage?

Prohibited items include:

  • Explosives, flammables, oil, gas, fuel tanks and corrosives
  • Illegal items, controlled substances, weapons and ammunition
  • Plants, animals, tires and perishables
  • Hazardous, toxic or pollutant materials or chemicals

This is a summary. Your rental agreement controls and may contain additional restrictions.

How do I move out of my unit?
  1. Give Storology at least 10 days’ notice.
  2. Leave the unit vacant and broom clean.
  3. Text a photo showing the clean space and unit number to (903) 561-7766, or email it to support@storologystorage.com. The message must come from the phone number or email address on file.
  4. Close the unit door after taking the photo.
  5. Wait for Storology to confirm that the unit is vacant and clean.

A cleanup fee may apply, and Storology does not provide move-out prorations. See the complete move-out instructions.
